Welcome, my name is Rachelle Black. I am a certified Interior Designer dedicated to creating spaces that inspire, intrigue and make you feel at peace.

The Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation

Let’s Get to Know Each Other!

In our first meeting, we’ll sit down and chat about your needs, preferences, and vision for your space. This is a relaxed, friendly conversation where you can share your ideas, likes, and dislikes. It's all about getting to know you and understanding your goals, so we can create a space that's perfectly tailored to you. This step helps us build a strong foundation for the rest of the design process.

Step 2: Our Second Meeting

It's time to get creative! This is when I will present to you my ideas. Mood boards are a creative visual presentation of images and objects inspired by our client brief and I use them to convey the style and atmosphere you want for the space. Think of it as a tool to gather and organize all the elements that inspire you and see how they fit together. It helps you and I understand and agree on the overall direction for the interior design project.

If the project requires spatial planning or structural changes, I will draw up a preliminary floor plan that is to scale, showing the proposed changes I intend to make. Click through to discover some of my work!

Step 3- Final Design

Once you've approved the initial concept, we can move forward with the detailed design phase.
In this stage, I will present the actual selections for your project, including colors, materials, finishes, and furniture. This will provide you with a clear and accurate preview of how your finished space will look.

I will create a comprehensive materials board for you, showcasing physical samples and swatches of the materials to be used in the final design. This hands-on presentation allows you to see, touch, and feel the textures and finishes, offering a tangible experience that images alone can't provide.

Step 4- Implementation

Bringing Your Vision to Life!

In this final step, I oversee the execution of your design. I will coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure everything is done to the highest standards. I will manage all the details, so you can sit back and watch your dream space come together beautifully.
